IT'S DOOOONE.
 My gosh, this thing has been sitting around for I don't know how long, and yesterday I got sick of it and decided to finish it once and for all.I think the reason it took me so long is because I'm going through this phase where I have a defeated attitude about my art. I always feel like I won't be able to draw a pic the way I want to before I've even tried. So I end up not drawing at all.  So I was looking at the unfinished version of this and decided "the heck with perfectionism, I want this done". I kept up a positive attitude and determinedly worked on it for two days straight (off and on of course) and now it's finished! *siiiigh* I hope you all like it... A close-up can be seen here: [link] **Oh, I should probably mention (for those who don't know) that this is the cover for my Zelda fanfic I'm currently working on which is called, you guessed it, Fortitude. What's happening here is actually more symbolic; it's not an actual scene from the fic or anything. SO many things to say! Their hair!!! The lighting and how realistic and touchable it looks - Zelda's braids came out lovely, and Link's... you can see the layers in it and the depth (I really love hair
Their faces... the looks in their eyes, breaks my heart. You did such a good jobs on their lips. This is silly, but you can see them reaching out for each other... UGH, I'm dying here, I'm absolutely dying. I just started bawling! >.<

I FREAKING LOVE 'THE LEGEND OF ZELDA.'
...okay, so this is a little weird, but my favorite things in the picture? Zelda's braid and Link's bloody cuts. That can't be healthy (the latter).
Huh. Now I'm curious, what's the dillio with the shadow-y tattoo-like thing on Link's chest? I can see the symbols behind most of it (I think), what with the difference in class and all; hinted at by the fancy rings adorning the fingers that clench Zelda's chain.
I love love love LOVE the emotion! So vibrant, so heartrending! I can say that this is one of the rare times I like the colored version better than the lineart.
Heehee! I'm glad you like the hair! I was actually rather pleased with how it turned out. Link's hair used to look all shiny and lovely, but I had to streak it with dark colors to make it look dirty. I was hesitant to do it, lol.
I can't believe this made you cry! That's like the ultimate compliment right there... and I'm just so unbelievably flattered. It's so bizarre for me- I've been working on this for so long that it doesn't effect me emotionally at all. I'm sorta fed up with it, lol. But I do like how it turned out.
